Very Comfortable, Great Room, Expensive Food
Incredible views from the restaurant of lake Geneva. Room was very well appointed and comfortable. Bathroom excellent, comfy bed. Room pretty good value for money, comparatively.
The price of the food in general, be it evening meal (two restaurants to choose from) or breakfast was overly expensive. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the food was good but certainly didn’t merit the exorbitant prices. A shame, as if the food were a little more reasonably priced, this would be a 10 out of 10 hotel.

Excellent restaurant (dinner), hotel lacks eye for detail.
We made a last minute booking due to bad weather conditions. This was the only hotel available and we were very grateful for a place to stay indoors. We seemed to be the only guests and they kept the kitchen open just for us. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The restaurant (dinner) was excellent. They offered us a place to dry our tent.
The owner of the hotel seems to live far away, or doesn't care about details. Although the rooms are well appointed, many small things are not as they should be (especially given the price of ~EUR 200/ night). Examples: the clock in the room was on winter time, the battery in the scales had died, covid measures were still advertised etc. We also felt uncomfortable 4 people were swarming our table (sometimes at the same time) serving us at dinner. Especially since we were the only guests. At breakfast (EUR 29 per person) we got orange juice from a carton and initially cold coffee. Did they really put the scrambled eggs in the microwave instead of a skillet?
